TVS Jupiter Solo Ride to Himachal Pradesh | Ludhiana to Nagrota Surian Travel Experience

Welcome to my first solo ride adventure from Ludhiana to Nagrota Surian, Himachal Pradesh, on a TVS Jupiter 110cc scooter. This journey covered approximately 200 kilometers through Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, offering beautiful mountain views, smooth highways, and an unforgettable riding experience.

About This Ride

This was my first solo ride as well as my first travel vlog. Since I was riding alone, there was no hurry to reach the destination. The purpose of the trip was to enjoy the journey, explore new roads, and experience long-distance riding on a scooter.

Although I did not speak in this vlog, I wanted to capture the road conditions, scenery, and overall riding experience. At that time I was still working on my vlogging setup and learning how to create travel content.

Route Details

The ride started around 8:00 AM from Ludhiana. The first stretch from Ludhiana to Phagwara was smooth and comfortable, allowing a steady cruising speed on the highway.

After reaching Phagwara, the route turns toward Hoshiarpur. Some sections become single-lane roads, but overall the road condition remains good for both scooters and motorcycles.

From Hoshiarpur, riders can choose either the city shortcut or the longer bypass route. During peak traffic hours, the bypass route is generally more comfortable and less congested.

The road towards Kangra and Nagrota Surian offers beautiful views, open stretches, and enjoyable riding conditions. Most sections were smooth enough to maintain a comfortable cruising speed throughout the journey.

TVS Jupiter Performance During the Ride

The TVS Jupiter 110cc performed surprisingly well during this long-distance ride. Despite being a scooter, it handled highway stretches comfortably and remained stable throughout the journey.

Only two major breaks were required during the trip, making the ride comfortable and enjoyable. The scooter proved that long-distance travel is possible even on a small-capacity automatic scooter when planned properly.

  • Phagwara to Hoshiarpur – Mostly good roads with minor rough patches.
  • Hoshiarpur to Kangra – Smooth and enjoyable riding conditions.
  • Kangra to Nagrota Surian – Scenic roads with beautiful mountain views.

  • Start early in the morning to avoid traffic.
  • Carry water and basic riding gear.
  • Take short breaks every 80–100 KM.
  • Check tyre pressure before starting the ride.
  • Keep fuel levels sufficient before entering remote areas.
